I’m an amateur bike mechanic and appreciate good components. I have shopped far and wide for a kid’s bike that would really impress me. This is it! It’s real solid yet light weight, has truly functional hand brakes, and a real headset for the handlebars. The wheel bearings are smooth and solid as well as on the pedal assembly. Who would’ve thought on a kids bike! I wanted him to be safe on a good functional bike. I’m very pleased! Thank you all for a wonderful product!
Excellent bikes. We have 2 of these bikes. They are excellent quality and are beautifully made. They are very easy to assemble. Both children loved them as balance bikes and started on them when they were nearly 3. They have now transitioned onto their pedals with ease. I would 100% recommend to a friend and do so on regular occasions.

Balance bike or stabilisers? LittleBig Bike seemed like the perfect answer, a little expensive but figured if it lasts until she’s 6 or 7 then it’s worth it. My daughter took to it straight away. She was able to steer and push it along whilst walking over the frame. Such an amazing bike, it really is beautiful and she loves it! The quality is so impressive. We love it!
This bike is legitimately the best bike in the world for new little riders. It came well packaged and was thoroughly impressed with the build quality. It was super easy to set up and the pedal conversion is easy as well.My daughter rode the little scoot bike for her 2 year old summer. At 3.5 she took off pedalling as fast as she could.This bike is absolutely the best way to teach your kid to ride. Sticking with the same lightweight, easy to use platform year after year is the recipe for success!!!
I did a lot of research before buying, I wanted excellent quality, and be appropriate for my 4YO daughter for a number of years. This bike ticks all the boxes. She LOVES the sparkly pink finish. We hand assemble each bike here in Ireland using qualty parts such as kids specific short reach brake levers that ensure your child can stop quickly and safely before progressing to pedals. Proper air tyres roll on smooth cartridge bearing hubs leading to an effortless ride. In short, we've considered every aspect of the LittleBig bike so your little one can learn to ride with confidence.
A convertible balance bike means that your child can progress from learning to balance to learning to pedal, all on the one bike. This gives them confidence when starting to pedal, having already mastered their balance on the balance bike mode.
For parents, it means that your child can have a simple and safe transition to pedalling. And it saves having to buy separate balance bikes and pedals bikes, which is better value and more sustainable.
We sell the balance bike and pedals separately so customers can choose to purchase the balance bike by itself if preferred.
Purchasing the pedal kit with the bike means you will have them ready for when your little one wants to begin pedalling and you save yourself the cost of posting the pedals separately at a later date.
We would not recommend using stabilisers (known as training wheels in the USA) while your child is learning to pedal. Starting on a LittleBig balance bike, your child will naturally learn the core cycling skills of balancing, steering and braking. Yes, we can deliver the LittleBig to the United States with our national post service AnPost who works with USPS. Delivery costs $39 USD is fully tracked door to door and takes approximately one week. At only US$39 per bike it’s the best value possible to get a pretty big bike box to you!

We will set the brakes up in the standard United States style, with the front brake on the left brake lever, and the rear brake on the right.
We offer free delivery to the UK which takes approximately 2-3 working days with DPD couriers. If the item is in stock, we aim to dispatch orders the same or next working day.

Fantastic design, but the could improve the quality of assembly a bit. Also, if you order from US, be aware that the brakes are set up reverse from US. Make sure you tell them you want brakes to be set to US standard.

I have no affiliation with LittleBig and got nothing in return for this review, but I’m excited to share it because I am a picky, research-oriented dad, and I am really happy with our two LittleBig bikes. I was nervous to buy them without being able to try in person, but they are well made, easy to assemble and adjust, and most importantly, my kids took to them right away and are doing great riding.
After a lot of research online and in-store, we decided that a balance bike would be the best fit for our twin 3.5 year olds. We looked at a number of 12in training wheel bikes as well as two different well-reviewed balance bikes. Ultimately I took a chance sight unseen with two of the LittleBig bikes because of the design, weight, and ability to grow with our kids.
Ordering was easy and the backordered bikes were shipped as promised. Transit time to the US was about a week, and they arrived well packaged and in good shape.
Assembly was fairly easy although I found the brakes needed a little adjusting. No big deal, but worth a quick YouTube search on adjusting v-brakes if you’ve not done it before. I’m a handy person with a keen interest in materials and engineering, and a cyclist myself. I was really impressed with the quality of the frame and components; they are noticeably better than the bikes we’d looked at in-store (several of which were >=$100 more expensive.) The frame and parts really do inspire confidence that this will last the kids for years.
Once assembled, my kids were up and away. The more confident rider was gliding on the driveway right off, but my more more cautious and clumsy child really impressed us with how quickly he seemed to feel comfortable on the LittleBig. The low step-over height of the single tube and the light weight both seemed to really help make him feel a lot more confident. They are easily able to maneuver the bikes, and the light weight also makes them so easy to put away and get out for riding. I’ve got them hanging from hooks in the garage, and it is easy to grab them one-handed when it’s time to ride.
We are currently using the lower seat height setting, but I imagine that flipping to the higher ride position and then adding the pedals will be pretty easy having looked at the parts.
I also bought a single CariBob strap, which is well made and handy. I wouldn’t want to take a hike carrying two bikes on a strap, but it sure makes it easy to go short distances. The strap is easy and intuitive to use, and could be used for other kid stuff, though ours will stay with the bikes.

This bike is amazing!
Last year, my daughter was riding the Yedoo Too Too and didn’t quite get the idea of a balance bike. This year for her 4th birthday, we opted for the little big with pedal conversion kit. She LOVES it. She was riding it around the house until it stopped raining. The first outdoor ride she was already starting to balance. Two weeks later, she rides down the hill with her feet up. The bike just feels comfortable for her and it’s great.
The company even reversed the brakes to the US standard for us, fantastic. Customer service was fabulous and the bike was super easy to finish assembling. We highly recommend this bike.

After searching for the next level bike I found a buyers guide which directed me to Little big bikes. At first glance, it appeared to have had a lot of thought put into it and the fact it was designed and built in Ireland was a big seller for me.
My son would have been going onto a 14″ bike which would have come out at the same cost, however, would not have provided the transition from his smaller strider.
Little big bikes provide a solid platform when moving from the generic striders available with larger wheels, a more sturdy bike and geometry found on larger bikes.
This provides my son with a more natural progression through the three stages of the Little big bike.
Fantastic product, solid build and looking forward to many years of use.

Bought this bike for my daughter’s 4th Birthday and I don’t normally write reviews but this bike is amazing therefore I just had to write something. It arrived this morning and and it was very easy to assemble; it is very smartly designed; the quality of the bike is solid; well made; you can tell there was a lot of thought and love to this bike design.
My daughter saw it this morning and she absolutely loves it and got ready before I did and rushed me out with it! Being her first two wheel bike, I just couldn’t believe that she can actually ride on it – trying to balance on it and learning how to use the brake herself. So five stars.

We bought this bike for my daughter when she was 2, she’s now nearly 5. We loved the fact that it grows with her but she’s quite small for her age and for the first 1-2 years she was too small for it, so much so we bought her a 2nd hand wooden balance bike for the interim. Now she’s got the pedals added and can ride it but only for a few metres at a time, preferring to push it instead. However, when she’s had a ride on a lighter bike, she’s had so much more confidence with it and has ridden much further. We’ve only just realised that it is 2kg heavier than most starter bikes, and we believe that is her difficulty with it. We’re now researching other pedal bikes for her, as we don’t think she’s ever going to have any confidence with this bike. It’s a nice idea but disappointing outcome.

I have twins, so I´m so very happy that I don´t have to buy 2 bikes of every size for the next 5 years! They got the bikes for their 2 year old birthday this autumn. The girls are not very tall, so the bikes were a tiny bit too big for them on their birthday (but they still loved it – just got a little help at first). The bikes already fit better so they will be perfect this fall and summer (and every fall and summer over the next years).
The bikes are very sturdy, and even so they are lighter that expected. Overall a great quality.
