Worried about constantly replacing your little one’s bike as he or she constantly grows out of it? Not sure you’ll get much resale value or there won’t be a sibling to pass down to? Then the Little Big Bike is the one for you. What makes this bicycle stand out is its three-in-one nature. It starts off as a balance bike for two-year-olds, transforms into a pedal bike for when your child is ready, and then extends as they grow. The innovative system is done without compromising the bike’s quality.

I paid order # 12070 ( july 29 2022 ) and was told FREE delivery and assumed too that it would be in time for my grandson’s birthday . DPD UK were very quickly in touch on August 1 ( the first monday after a friday pm order ) to text me that my dpdireland parcel import charges of £50.72 were unpaid and unless I paid the goods could not be delivered . I thought this was a scam but was then called on the wednesday 2 days later by a Bristol number assuring me that it was not a scam and that I should pay using the link in their text . The link fails . And still fays and its now friday pm . DPD customer service cant help . No bike . Sad grandpa and grandson ………
Dear Mark,
Thanks for ordering the LittleBig bike.
I am sorry you had trouble with your bike delivery.
With regarding to the taxes, UK delivery is indeed free, this is the cost of delivering the bike from Ireland to the UK.
Since the UK left the EU the taxes are not paid on our website but instead on import to the UK. This is noted throughout our website (delivery, FAQ’s and customer satisfaction page)and there is a UK specific message on the checkout page regarding the payment of import charges. With this in mind I am not sure why you thought the text was a scam as the message on the checkout and the tracking code reference DPD couriers. It seems strange that the link failed as we deliver to the UK a lot with DPD and it’s usually pretty streamlined. I can see the other UK orders from that day were delivered by Wednesday (3 working day delivery time) so I expect the issue was caused by the delay in the tax payment but DPD should be able to rectify this. If you have further trouble with your bike delivery please contact us and I can chase this up on our end.
Best wishes,
Simon Evans
