Possibly the best present we will everbuyfor our nearly 3 year old. Having outgrown her cheap balance bike from Argos we decided that she needed proper bike tyres and brakes as she had expressed desire to try the hills on the local BMX track. Th bike arrived very quickly. It was easy to assemble. We have done many laps of the BMX track and having owned the bike for nearly 3 months she has been on it every day. IfIhad a negativeIwould say it was that the brakes and wheels needed a bit of tuning to stop the brake pads rubbing on the rims.
What a quality company. I have nothing but great things to say. I ran into an issue when converting my sons bike with the pedal kit and after an email that was almost immediately replied to, a representative (Daire) via WhatsApp was able to diagnose my issue(s) from videos taken on my iPhone. He replicated exactly the steps (on a bike) that I needed to do in a video he shot himself. He went above and beyond any kind of customer service I have ever experienced! Would absolutely recommend.
All 3 of my grandkids love their bikes! They are 2, 3 and 4. The 4 year old is close to putting on the pedals. The 3 year old is racing down sidewalks and the 2 year is is close to balancing on his own. GREAT bike and high quality. We are so glad we purchased these.
I consider myself a bit of a snob in everything Cycle related, and I can confirm this balance bike is everything a Cycling Daddy hopes for and expects from it.
The build quality is Superb, the fiery and shiny paint top it off!
Besides that, my child absolutely loves it!
I bought my son a little big bike for his 2nd birthday, and he is never off it! The price might be slightly more than you would pay for an off the shelf balance bike, but the build quality is excellent and the fact it can turn into a ‘big boy bike’ with little expense means you are saving money in the long run. Moreover, Freddie does not need to get used to a new bike now he is learning to pedal - he is learning on a bike he is familiar with.
Would (and have) 100% recommend.
