Whether you're considering a LittleBig Bike or already part of the family, we’d love to hear your thoughts!
Great company and brilliant product. Very high quality and my kid took to it straight away
All the comments I am about to make are things that are stated on the website, although it can be easy to miss / assume otherwise so I think it's important I share them. The website states free UK delivery* but if you delve into this it does state UK customers will be responsible for their own tax. What I didn't foresee is that this would be an extra £67.61 onto the cost of the bike and you receive this as a bill from the delivery company. It also took much longer for our bike to arrive than advertised, which again it does state can happen, but its slightly frustrating to have a time stated and then not keep to that.
The bike itself feels good quality and I like the design. My husband put it together on his own quickly. Its currently too big for our just 2 year old daughter (which I expected due to the size guide) so I cant comment about its use and life span. Having seen other models of balance bikes I do wonder if she'll be better off with something else to begin with as this bike is massive and heavy for her, which sort of defeats the object of this bike being 'the only one you need', although I'm sure it will provide a good stepping stone from balance to pedals once she is ready.
Dear Ruth
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and thoughtful feedback—it’s genuinely appreciated.
We completely understand how the unexpected customs charge and delivery timeline could be frustrating, especially when you’re excited for your little one to start riding. We do try our best to make the separate UK tax payment clear on our website, including on the delivery, FAQ's, shop, and cart pages, as well as a follow up email after your order in case the notices are missed pre-purchase.
We’re really glad to hear that you’re happy with the quality and design of the bike, and that assembly was smooth. Every child is different and is ready for the LittleBig at different ages, which is why we provide detailed sizing information so parents can acertain if the LittleBig is the corect size for their child. That being said, that while your daughter needs to wait until she's big enough to fit the bike, it means that she will be able to use the bike for many years to some.
We hope your daughter enjoys it when she’s ready—and that it becomes a long-term companion in her cycling journey! If you ever have any questions or need guidance as she grows into it, we’re always happy to help.
Thanks again for your honest review and support.
Warm regards,
Simon Evans
We are delighted with the bike, really light if it needs to be carried. Grows with them so when they eventually need to get pedals, it's not a whole new bike to get used to. Great design and Irish made, what more could you want 😊
Thanks so much for your review Michelle, glad to hear you are delighted with the LittleBig bike.
We received our Little Big Bike 2 days ago. It was simple to assemble with clear instructions. Once completed everything worked as it should. Everyday our daughter has been wanting to ride it after school! This Little Big Bike replaces all the other bikes she never really got on with! Great design as this bike will grow with her, both in size and skill level (balance and pedal modes). Please note - she does ride her bike with proper PPE ;)
Thanks so much for your review Roy, it's great to hear that your daughter wants to ride to school now she has a LittleBig bike : )
Much appreciated

Sturdy, lightweight, well built. The little guy is flying on it already.
Hi Paul, thanks for the review, delighted to hear that your little lad is already ripping on his bike : )
Best wishes
