We were looking for a bike that would suit our son, as he had outgrown his balance bike but wasn’t quite ready for pedals yet. He loves riding over bumps and small jumps at our local bike park, so a bike with stabilisers wasn’t an option.

We came across the Little Big Bikes and it’s been absolutely perfect! It allowed our son to continue learning on a balance bike, but with a bigger, adjustable frame and proper brakes — giving him more speed and confidence while keeping things safe.

After about five months of riding it as a balance bike, he’s now confidently pedalling on his own! The transformation process was simple — the bike was easy to assemble, and adding the pedal kit when he was ready was quick and straightforward.

It’s a brilliant design, excellent quality, and has made learning to ride a really positive experience for him (and for us!). Highly recommended for anyone looking for a bike that truly grows with their child.

We met a little guy cycling a Littlebig along Bray seafront, quick chat with the parents and went straight home to Google the company. When our eldest was old enough we got him a red one. He loved it from day one.

When his little brother hit 3 he got one of the newer sliver models. Same great build quality just a bit upgraded.

The red bike was a year on the low set up, a year on the high set up and this summer we added on the pedals to much fan fair.

Altering between each set up was super easy and mostly done by my son with my over sight and bolt tightening abilities.

We've recommended these bikes to all our friends and countless curious passers-by so why not here in text as well.

Finally it's so nice to interact with a Irish company, providing a great product with a great consumer service department.

Excellent quality, and easy to assemble.

We have 2 little big bikes and my Grandsons have had them since late 2022 and early 2023 and have moved through all the stages of little balance bike, big balance bike and big bike with pedals. They both love the bikes and they have definitely helped them progress quickly to full cycling. The bikes look great, have brakes so they are safer in all 3 modes of set up and because the wheels are 14 inch are able to more easily ride over bumps that would stop a smaller balance bike that young kids tend to start on. It was the larger wheels, brakes and ability of the bikes to grow with the kids and their abilities that sold us on the bikes. My eldest grandson, just gone 6, has now moved up to a 20 inch, geared bike and this bike is now being re-converted back into the little balance bike mode for his 3 year old sister. Unfortunately we have lost the sprocket cover that is in place when in balance bike mode. I contacted little big bikes to check if there was a possibility of getting a spare for this. They were very responsive to the request (minutes not days) and the part is on its way to us now. This is fantastic service. I could not recommend this bike and the company highly enough. The kids have loved them, we have 2 young girls that are and will eventually take over the boys bikes and if there are any problems the company are very responsive. Remember though, when converting to use the pedals keep the sprocket cover safe because you might need it again!

It looks like a very fine product. I opened the box to make sure it was all there. However I have not put it together yet as it will be a Christmas gift. I anticipate using it for my 4 year old grandson and then for his newborn brother. Your customer service is very responsive
