I’m an amateur bike mechanic and appreciate good components. I have shopped far and wide for a kid’s bike that would really impress me. This is it! It’s real solid yet light weight, has truly functional hand brakes, and a real headset for the handlebars. The wheel bearings are smooth and solid as well as on the pedal assembly. Excellent bikes. We have 2 of these bikes. They are excellent quality and are beautifully made. They are very easy to assemble. Both children loved them as balance bikes and started on them when they were nearly 3. They have now transitioned onto their pedals with ease. I would 100% recommend to a friend and do so on regular occasions.

Balance bike or stabilisers? LittleBig Bike seemed like the perfect answer, a little expensive but figured if it lasts until she’s 6 or 7 then it’s worth it. My daughter took to it straight away. She was able to steer and push it along whilst walking over the frame. Such an amazing bike, it really is beautiful and she loves it! The quality is so impressive. We love it!
This bike is legitimately the best bike in the world for new little riders. It came well packaged and was thoroughly impressed with the build quality. It was super easy to set up and the pedal conversion is easy as well.My daughter rode the little scoot bike for her 2 year old summer. At 3.5 she took off pedalling as fast as she could.This bike is absolutely the best way to teach your kid to ride. We hand assemble each bike here in Ireland using qualty parts such as kids specific short reach brake levers that ensure your child can stop quickly and safely before progressing to pedals. Proper air tyres roll on smooth cartridge bearing hubs leading to an effortless ride. In short, we've considered every aspect of the LittleBig bike so your little one can learn to ride with confidence.
A convertible balance bike means that your child can progress from learning to balance to learning to pedal, all on the one bike. This gives them confidence when starting to pedal, having already mastered their balance on the balance bike mode.
For parents, it means that your child can have a simple and safe transition to pedalling. And it saves having to buy separate balance bikes and pedals bikes, which is better value and more sustainable.
We sell the balance bike and pedals separately so customers can choose to purchase the balance bike by itself if preferred.
Purchasing the pedal kit with the bike means you will have them ready for when your little one wants to begin pedalling and you save yourself the cost of posting the pedals separately at a later date.
We would not recommend using stabilisers (known as training wheels in the USA) while your child is learning to pedal. Starting on a LittleBig balance bike, your child will naturally learn the core cycling skills of balancing, steering and braking. Yes, we can deliver the LittleBig to the United States with our national post service AnPost who works with USPS. Delivery costs $39 USD is fully tracked door to door and takes approximately one week. At only US$39 per bike it’s the best value possible to get a pretty big bike box to you!
Your order excludes tax, but you may need to pay your local sales tax on arrival to your country, which the delivery company arranges.
We will set the brakes up in the standard United States style, with the front brake on the left brake lever, and the rear brake on the right.
We offer free delivery to the UK which takes approximately 2-3 working days with DPD couriers. If the item is in stock, we aim to dispatch orders the same or next working day.

DPD couriers will text you to pay UK VAT at 20% of your order value, plus a £5 admin fee. This equates to approximately £40 for the convertible balance bike or £50 for the balance bike and pedals.

I bought it for my brother’s son and he loves it, he‘s 2,5 years old. For now he still needs to get his shoes on to touch grounds even tho the saddle is at it‘s lowest.

We ordered this for our 2 yr 9 month old. He’s already used a balance bike and very comfortable on it, but he’s certainly not as adventurous as some kids. It was early December and it promised for Christmas delivery. There was regular emails keeping us up to date, even when there were delays caused by border strikes. The bike arrived several days before Christmas, plenty of time to assemble.
The packaging was good, a large box, but well packed. The outside of the box does say what’s inside (not the colour though), so if your child can read, be careful if the delivery driver drops it off!
The assembly was relatively easy. I purchased the pedals but don’t need them for at least 6 months, so I ignored the packaging initially, but don’t! The instructions are inside with some tools.
Assembly is quite easy, but there are good videos on the website. I had one slight problem, either the brake cable was twisted around the front vertical bar either because the bar was turned around (I would have just needed to turn the handle bar before assembly) or because it was put on slightly wrong. Either way it isn’t a big problem as there is enough length in the cable and the child would unlikely be impacted by it. Im sure most folk wouldnt notice or care. I noticed after I put the wheel on, so decided to disconnect the brake cable. Not something you need do, but it was easy enough. Good to know if you ever need to adjust or replace the brake cable (any bike shop can do this, if you’re not comfortable doing it).
It’s currently set to little balance mode, and my boy absolutely loves it! Compared to other bikes, this one looks too big for him, but it’s not! The large frame and tyre provide more stability and comfort. He is already launching himself down hills, through large puddles, and across forest tracks with very uneven terrain. Next stop, the pump track! So far this looks to be perfect for him and he’s right at the start of his growth with it. In 4-6 months I plan to turn it in to the big balance mode, then a few months after, add the pedals. Very impressed with the build and overall purchase. Highly recommended.

Whilst the bike itself appears solid and is loved by our two year old grandson, I was extremely disappointed upon reciept to read on the box it is actually made in china and not in Ireland.
For personal reasons / preference buying from china is something I fervently try to avoid……
On the positive side its a breeze to assemble and the communications from Simon was brilliant..
